Cork is a noble, natural, renewable, recyclable, biodegradable, and 100% ecological material.

Aesthetically pleasing, cork is harvest by hand, mainly originating from the Iberic peninsula’s oak/cork forests. Portugal is known for the biggest Montados region in the world (oak/cork forests) and the leading exporter of cork worldwide. 80% of exported cork is used for manufacturing cork stoppers. The choice between cork and plastic was easy to make.
